V is for Vendetta
I wonder how the Astros will react to last nights 14-0 shellacking/embarrassment from the Reds.. will they turn heel and get stomped again tonight? Or will they use it as a motivating tool and come back tomorrow firing on all cylinders... or at least one cylinder... You can sit back and just laugh at last nights game, or you can get pissed off and come back tomorrow with a score to settle... a Vendetta.. V is for Vendetta.. and Victory.. we need to get both today.. and for the rest of the season. The Astros got completely embarrassed last night... it was pathetic.. They could have at least scored one run.. I know Garner basically gave up after the 4th inning and just started giving people playing time.. but still... One run shouldn't be too much to ask for...
The Astros hopes of making it to the post season are all but mathematically eliminated... We're now 7 games back in the Wild Card with 9 teams above us in the Wild Card standings.. heck, we're not really even on the Wild Card standings anymore. There are 3 teams with a worse record than us in the National League.. and one of those teams isn't the sub 20
million dollar payroll Marlins. The Pirates, Cubs and Nationals are the only teams in the National League with a record worse than the Astros. From the National League champions, to the National League's 4th worse team... with almost the exact same roster? Never would have guessed that.
I haven't done it in a while, so I'm going to revert back to the ever-trusting Magic 8-ball.
Will the Astros, despite their pathetic record, despite them being in 10th place in the Wild Card standings, despite them being 8 games under .500... come back and make it to the playoff this season?

can somebody please explain to me how in the **** other rookies ***** near ,no hit the astros ,but when it comes to our rookies they are yanked around all over the yard.might as well bring back taylor or matt this hirsch guy needs to go back down and maybe worry more about his stuff then his blog. that junk he was coming with will not cut it in the big leagues .i hate to see him go against a first place team with big name hitters.one more thing if i see brad ausmus and morgan ensberg in a stros uniform next year i think i'm going to puke.

Hirsh has a blog? The Astros offense is terrible, that's how these rookies do so well against us... You might as well get the trash can now, cause Ensberg and Ausmus will probably both be in Astros uni's next season..

well its been a while,but i'm back to say what i said before if lidge was black he would have been gone a long time ago instead he just blew another save surprise surprise you only get one guess pujols that's right st louis a team that is not going to make it out of the first round throwing nothing but no name relievers out there and the home team can't scratch out one run these clowns make me sick somebody needs to take them aside a slap them and remind them they get paid millions of dollars to hit a baseball not cry about how they tried their best but tonight just was not their night.give me a freaking break this team is trash and thats a shame because the pitching is there but come on you got to at least put one run on the board and if that worthless lidge is your closer you better make it two or three i sure do miss billy and jeff if not for that arm and that bat the stros would have been as sorry as k.c. or tampa bay this loss just turns my stomach hurry up and lose the next 4 or 6 so we could be eliminated and just watch for fun and if they gat red hot and make the playoffs they would come up with nothing but moral victorys to cry about on t.v.enough already start winning when it matters most you bunch of bums
