Hirsh goes tonight!
I am really excited to see how Hirsch does tonight and was really looking forward to watching the game... my wife just came to me and asked if we could have movie night... so I caved and we're fixing to go rent videos and pick up a pizza.. so it doesn't look like I'll see much of the game.. Oh well, the things we do for love.. =)
Go 'Stros!
It seems as though Mr. Purpura, the front office and Phil Garner have things going their way. Every phase of the game is coming together, as the wheels are falling apart for the Cardinals and Reds. The Astros are 1 1/2 games out of the wild card, and 5 out of the division lead. The timing is perfect to bring additional excitement with Jason Hirsh. They saved and kept him working in Round Rock for this moment. He will be key during this final push. Expect him to be as good as anticipated. And the Astros to win the World Series.

All good thoughts Steven, but Hirsh wasn't that great tonight... given it was his first big league experience.. Hopefully he'll get another chance and hopefully he'll do better with out the jitters of his first game.
