Astros up 9-3.. I'm going to bed
I hate these **** late games.. it's almost 11:00 pm here and the game has just started the top of the 8th inning. Roger Clemens was still pitching with a 6 run lead in the bottom of the 7th. I'm sure he'll come out of the game pretty soon(might be done for the night). Clemens numbers are 7 innings, 8 hits, 3 runs and 5 k's on the night.
The word for tonight is... "EXPLOSIVE HITTING!" In the last two nights, two of the most unlikely things for the Astros happened.. Last night Willy T hit a(what turned out to be the game winning) home run, and tonight, Brad Ausmus hit a home run. Not your everyday home run, a grand slam! That wasn't the only home run for the Astros, Huff and Scott also decided to play some long ball.
Normally I would stay up and finish watching the game... but last night(this morning) I stayed up past 1 am and got up at 5 am, so I'm going to call it a night and just have faith in the Astros that they can make this 6 run lead in the 8th inning hold up.
**Notes** Nieve is back, as the Astros sent Albers back to the minors. Albers went to Triple A instead of Double A which is where he was before he was called up. Nieve will more than likely be used as help for the bullpen. I highly doubt he'll make a start... I'm still hoping the Astros give Hirsch a chance to start when the next game comes open.
Biggio notches hit # 2900 for his career! 100 more hits and he gets the big 3K! When he gets 3000 hits, all of those people who say that Biggio isn't a first ballot hall of famer can go to ****!
G'Nite!

Anyone who doesn't think Biggio is a first ballot hall of famer is a frickin idiot, i mean his HBP's alone should put him there! Add in the rest of his stats and there is no question. If anyone doesn't believe it check out this site I found, at the bottom it compares him to other players, most of which are hall of famers (or still playing)http://www.baseball-reference.com/b/biggicr01.shtml
