Hometown Boy Gets Start for the Astros
Chris Sampson a hometown boy from Pasadena, TX makes his MLB starting debut tonight against the Chicago Cubs. It's always nice to see a hometown boy get to play for his hometown team. We're pulling for you Chris.. hope you have a good game!

Yesterday, Roger Clemens made a debut of his own, for the Lexington Legends, the Single A, minor league affiliate of the Houston Astros. Clemens pitched 3 innings giving up 3 hits with a run(a solo shot by Johnny Drennen) to a sold out, standing room only crowd of 9,222. Drennen struck out in his 2nd at bat against the Rocket. Clemens mentioned that "it was a circus atmosphere" in Lexington and had his #22 imprinted in the dirt around 2nd base. At the end of his outing, he acknowledged the crowd with a curtain call. He'll probably get the same treatment in his next two starts on June 11th in Double A Corpus Christi, then again on June 16th for Triple A Round Rock. The Rocket makes his 2007 MLB debut with the Astros on June 22nd at Minute Maid Park against the Twins. Koby went 1 for 3 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and a walk.
