A solo-shot in the 4th by Lance tied the Astros with the Braves at 1-1, then after catching a fly in right field and gunning Jeff Francoeur out at home, he hits another jack, a 3 run shot this time to put the Astros in the lead 4-2. 

The throw from Lance was great, a one hopper that comes up high on Ausmus.  Ausmus blocks it goalie style with his chest and covers it with his mit and bare-hand about the same time Francoeur barrels into him.  As Ausmus is falling back he pulls the ball up showing it to the umpire.. You're out!

After a two out, pinch hit single by Orlando Palmeiro scoring Ensberg and Wilson, the Astros are sitting with a 6-2 lead, putting up a 5 spot in the 6th.  Pettitte is out of the game after going 6 innings, giving up 8 hits and 2 runs with 8 strike outs.  He's in line for the win, lowering his ERA from 6.03 to 5.81.  Still high, but at least it's sub 6.0 now.  Chad Qualls enters the game in relief and starts off by striking out the first batter he sees. 

Game over, Lidge with the 1-2-3 inning for the save in the ninth.  7-4 win for the Astros.. 3 wins in a row.. that's what you call a STREAK!  Andy gets the win bringing his record to 5-7.

Other Notes :
One night after dislocating his shoulder while taking a swing during Wednesdays game against the Cubs, Chris Burke says he's feeling good, has full range of motion and strength in his shoulder.  Put me in coach!  Like most coaches Garner's going to play it safe and give Chris a night off.. but he is available(technically) to pinch hit, though I think that will probably be a last resort move.
